The English Cities Fund (ECF) and Salford housing provider, Salix Homes, have struck a landmark agreement to bring forward the latest phase of 96 homes at ECF’s £1bn, 50-acre Salford Central masterplan, taking the overall percentage of affordable homes to 25% across the entire scheme.

Greenhaus, will be situated directly adjacent to its highly successful sister development, Atelier, and continues ECF’s success in creating a vibrant and inclusive neighbourhood through the delivery of a number of residential developments across the wider scheme.
Since 2013, ECF has delivered multiple award-winning residential developments on Chapel Street, including Vimto Gardens (97 apartments and townhouses), Timekeepers Square (36 townhouses), Carpino Place (22 townhouses), Atelier (179 apartments and townhouses) and Valette Square (33 townhouses). Each development is unique in design, representing both Salford’s rich heritage and aspiration, with high-quality fittings throughout and amenities on the doorstep to create a connected community.
ECF’s £1bn Salford Central masterplan, which is repurposing over 50 acres of Salford’s civic centre into an innovative and vibrant mixed-use destination. The fund is a strategic joint venture between national urban regenerator, Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England, with the scheme being delivered in partnership with Salford Council.
