During the COVID-19 pandemic Merseyrail services were reduced due to the impact the virus had on staffing numbers, however, with restrictions removed and more staff available, the rail operator is pleased to announce a return to its pre-COVID frequency.
The changes are as follows:
- Southport line – every 15 minutes from the start to the end of service
- All other lines (except Ellesmere Port) – every 15 minutes between approximately 07:00 and 19:00, with a 30-minute service operating outside of these hours
- Ellesmere Porta Line-a cada 30 minutos do início do final do serviço todos os dias, com trens adicionais em 07:15 e 08:30 para o pico da manhã e 16:30 e 17:30 para o pico da noite de segunda a sexta-feira || 306
A 30-minute service will operate on Sundays across all lines.
