Nationwide placemaker, Muse, along with registered provider, Thirteen Group and Homes England – the government’s housing and regeneration agency – welcomed considerable progress in the delivery of 113 affordable homes at Northshore, Stockton-on-Tees with a stakeholders tour event on site recently.
The new homes, which were part funded by the TEES VALLEY COMBINED AUTHORITY, will be energy efficient and Disponível para propriedade compartilhada e aluguel acessível. “It was a pleasure to share with our investment partners not only the progress made in the delivery of quality affordable homes but also the wider development, as part of the regeneration of the town centre and River Tees which will benefit the whole community.”

Councillor Nigel Cooke, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Housing, said: “It’s fantastic to see the progress made at the Northshore site, which is going to be a great location for residents to live so close to Stockton Riverside and High Street.
“Encouraging people to live in or nearby town centres is one of the key factors in regeneration, so the 113 affordable homes are a very welcome addition as we continue on with our plans to improve every town centre across the Borough and make them fit for the future.”
The wider Northshore neighbourhood is being delivered by Muse, in partnership with Homes England and Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. The 56-acre gateway community will have provided in the region of 350 homes across a range of tenures and has already delivered 80,000 sq ft of offices, a new 128-bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel with a number of public spaces created.
