The second judged to be announced is Amardeep Gill, Amardeep is the managing partner of the Trowers & Hamlins’ Birmingham office, an international law firm. He advises on a range of commercial projects across the UK. Raised in Sandwell, he is passionate about ensuring continued growth and investment for the region and volunteers his time outside of the office to organisations aiming to enhance skills and education standards for local people. Amardeep has advised on complex large scale projects in the outsourcing, education, regeneration, leisure, aviation and housing sectors. He is also actively involved in the Smart Cities agenda and is advising the West Midlands Combined Authority on the West Midlands 5G project – a project that has the potential to create long-lasting change for the whole region. He is currently a board member of the Colmore Business District and a governor at Birmingham Metropolitan College.
